√  Erzaldi: Vocational Cooperation Produces Excellent Human Resources in Global Challenges

SUNGAILIAT-POLMANBABEL. As a vocational education, the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) continues to synergize with schools in Bangka Belitung, this time the National Police of Babel again collaborated with Vocational High Schools (SMK) and Senior High Schools (SMA) in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands.

The Polman Babel collaborated with SMK Negeri 1 Muntok, SMK Negeri 1 Parit Tiga Jebus, SMK Negeri 1 Tempilang, SMA Negeri 1 Merawang and the Guidance & Counseling Teacher Consultation (MGBK) of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

The signing of the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) was attended by the Governor of the Bangka Belitung Islands, Erzaldi Rosman Djohan at the Polman Babel Hall of Babel, Monday, February 14, 2022.

In addition, there were also the Head of the Babel Provincial Education Office, the Head of the Babel Province Maritime and Fishery Service and the Head of Vocational High School/High School/MAN in Babel who had implemented cooperation and planned to collaborate with the Polman Babel.

Erzaldi said that collaboration between universities and schools is very necessary because this is a form of synergy between educational institutions to produce superior human resource output in facing global challenges ahead.

"We have the highest appreciation for the Polman Babel for collaborating to embrace, collaborate, and synergize with SMK, SMA, MAN in the Belitung Islands Province," said Erzaldi (14/02).

"The presence of MAN IC here means that the expansion of cooperation with the Polman Babel has been extraordinary," he added.

He explained when talking about education today, what we imagine is 10 years in the future so we must prepare for education at this time by collaborating and synergizing with each other, regarding collaboration between vocational schools, we must know the appropriate technology to be developed in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands.

"Through the collaboration of the Polman Babel, it is hoped that the abilities of educators and students can be upgraded according to the times," said Erzaldi.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, said that 26 SMK/SMA/MAN were present at the MoU signing ceremony, both of which had collaborated and would cooperate with the Polman Babel.

"Today we will carry out the signing of the MoU with 4 schools and 1 Guidance & Counseling Teacher Consultation (MGBK) for the Province of the Babel Islands," said Made.

Made added that currently the Polman Babel has implemented cooperation in 10 vocational schools in Bangka Belitung and 12 schools will also be partnered with to collaborate regarding this educational collaboration.

"Right now, we are not struggling alone, to achieve on our own, it's not the time to be great individually, it's time for us to join hands, collaborate and integrate because each of us has weaknesses," said Made.

He also said that in 2021 the Polman Babel received the task and mandate from the Ministry of Education and Culture to assist 3 vocational schools that received funding in the form of Industrial Center Vocational Schools, namely SMK Negeri 2 Pangkalpinang, SMK Negeri 1 Bakam and SMK Negeri 1 Kelapa Kampit in accordance with their fields at Polman Negeri Babel, namely majoring in machine and department of electronics and informatics.(oln)
